It's a phal hybrid and it's going to be extremely hard to find her name. Lets hope someone on the board has this one and can tell you the name.

It is Phalaenopsis - single quote - your mother's name - close quote.

Now wasn't that easy! Eric

It looks great, it's a really nice pink. My favorite technique for IDing noids is to google the grower on the tag and sometimes they have a catalogue of their products. Otherwise, pinpointing an exact name is very difficult. Either call it what you want, or (this is what I do) is call it -Phal noid 'the name of the orchid it looks like'.- That way in you records you will know it's still a noid, but you have the satisfaction of giving it a name.

Since the plant did not come with a tag I have been doing some reserach and found the name after 2 weeks of looking. It's name is Doritaenopsis Nobby's Pink Lady X Taisuco Firebird= Dtps. I-Hsin Madame. The picture is from the last bloom about 4 months ago the plant is just starting a spike again . This plant is my second oldest plant that I bought about 7 years ago.
