It will be impossible to get a postive ID on either of those plants as there are hybrids too numerous to count being used to produce flowers/plants similar to both of those. If you want a name of something that looks similar to your phal - try google-ing this name and see what you think? Doritaenopsis Beauty Sheen 'Rin Rin'. Not sure what idea to give you on the paph - again - looks like a hybrid which could have come from lots of different potential parents. Regardless - nice plants - enjoy!

thanks. it's not a Dtps., i found out that they're both unnamed hybrids produced by a small Thai grower. do you know if Paphs will flower again from old growths, or just from the new ones?

thanks, snow. it has 2 new growths coming in. if they get to be as big as the original one, does that mean i'll have to re-pot it often? 2 new growths in one year makes it seem like a fast grower.

Hi Lamb,

I hav a Paph from Home Depot that looks like yours. The ID that came with it was: (Macabre x {Pulsar x Redmaude}) “Titan” X {Ruby Mist x Macabre} “Chunky Monkey”)

You can check out the picture of mine in my gallery if you want
