Default More PNG NOIDs

In the past few weeks I've had lots of what I presume are diplocaulobiums blooming all over my garden (Eastern Highlands of PNG) where I had tied them to different trees. Only then did I realise there are several differences. If you are an expert and can identify any of the species, please let me know!

This last is like another I have, but this one has a yellower tinge, and leaves about a third the size of the one shown below:

I've also had a few other tiny flowers blooming on other plants - I have no idea even of the genus for these.

Many thanks for any help!

Phil

I'm not sure if the last pic is of an Eria...it could very well be a Dendrochilum.
The "small cream flowers" definately belong to a Dendrobium...but which one ?? :-D

Dear Phil,

small cream = Eria

small yellow = ?

tiny white = Phreatia

small fragrant yellow = Dendrochilum

Hope that helps, Eric

Thanks for the heads up on dendrochilum - the description I've found in Pridgeon (Illustrated Encyclopedia) fits exactly with what I have growing here.

On phreatia, Pridgeon doesn't list this as a genus - is there another name?

Thanks very much!

Phil

Dear Phil,

No other name. Pridgeon is only for horticultural plants and Phreatia isn't normally grown.
