Default Phal. Taisuco?

This plant was given to me as Phal. Taisuco from someone who should know better, but i think he just forgot what the last part of the name was, since most Phal Taisuco's are "Taisuco Kaaladian" or "Taisuco Kochdian" etc.

So does anyone recognise what Taisuco this one is? The pink colouring in the lip is kind of distinctive.

I am not sure which you have but when I check the RHS registry they listed 176 Phalaenopsis with Taisuco in it's hybrid name ..
You can check it out here -

yeah thanks Dorothy, i thought i'd ask here before going through each and every Taisuco hybrid because there were so many!

But i've been doing more research, and initially i thought Taisuco kochdien was pretty close, and then i stumbled upon Phal. Sogo Musadian, which is Taisuco kochdien X something else...

i think its pretty darned close:

That is pretty darn close though there is some difference to the petal shape and size .. It's always a tough call naming NOIDs even semi-NOIDS

Taisugar is a state-run company in Taiwan.
It established in 1903, but didn't develop the orchid industry until 1987.
I think you can ask them through this e-mail as below,
a63795@taisugar.com.tw

Phalaenopsis Sogo Musadian = Phalaenopsis Musashino X Phalaenopsis Taisuco Kochdian

I think Edward has a good idea - Send that initially posted photo and a little note asking them to give you a more accurate identification

Take a look at Taisuco Mercy, Taisuco Day, Taisuco Bright but best best is to e-mail TAISUCO itself.
