This is a Paph from the cochlepetalum section of species/hybrids. It is a sequential bloomer and can bloom over a long period of time. Most likely it is a hybrid but we can tell better when the flower is open.

Not trying to hijack your thread here but I gotta ask...
I have a paph. that I bought, of all places, from Home Depot on Red Bug and Aloma in Orlando two years ago. It too is a NOID but... it looks exactly, to my eye, like the one in bloom in your photo on the right -
What is you other paph. labeled??

Hey that is the exact Home Depot I got this Paph from! I live just down the street on Aloma. Too funny!
This Paph was labeled an Oncidium, so I snatched it up for the cheap price.
The other Paph on the right in the first group of photos I got from the Platinum Coast Orchid Show in Cocoa last month. The full label says: Paph Peacock Formal 'Ponkan' x Paph Peacock Dawn 'Krull Smith' AM/AOS. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I've gotten a few nice plants from that store and, every once in a while, they actually have good finds in those "orchids-in-a-bag" plants they sell, once you dig through all the vandas and cat. types. I've gotten a couple zygo's and a Den. aggregatum out of those.

I do dig through the "orchids-in-a-bag," but haven't found anything good yet. I check everytime I go though! I have also checked at the Home Depot on 50 & 436, no such luck. I've noticed that the Lowe's around here don't seem to have the orchid collection that Home Depot does (I check them all - haha).
Besides the box stores, I really haven't had a chance to check out any local growers. Have you been to any around here that you could recommend?

Not sure which depot you purchased from but if they are in our district, Lee Rd., than you can contact Delray Plants in Venus, Fl. They should be able to help you identify this very lucky score.
Delray Plants | Home
I usually hide the ones I want to purchase when they hit the table, just glad this one was not the one I left in the middle of the bunch

I bought one just about 2 years ago as well with a tag, lucky me and it looks so much like yours, my tag says Paphiopedilum Impulse x Hampshire Raven, has bloomed continually but this last blooming the bugger blasted for unknown reason. Bought at the depot on Lee Rd / I-4.

Cheryl- Are there any other good orchid sources around this area (besides big box)? I have never actually been to a grower/greenhouse. Would love to check some out this weekend!
