Here are some pics from a couple weeks ago.

Thanks I'll bet that they are the same. What color are yours going to be?
Oh I'm most likely going to the show on Sunday. I will be traveling with friends so I don't know what time we will be there.

This looks a lot like my Trichoglottis fasciata....which is now known as Staurochilus fasciatus. At least you'll know soon, and you didn't have to wait forever for a spike. Good luck, Dave.

Susan,
What's in the little cheesecloth sachets attached to top of hangers? Both of your plants look nice and healthy and don't forget to post pictures when they finally flower.

Oh, those are little fertilizer tea bags. I use cheesecloth and Dynamo time release fertilizer to make them. I started doing that because I am very lazy about fertilizing. I am not sure it helps but it makes me feel better.

I don't know what it is, but it made me think of a triceratops (sp? dinosaur with three horns on head and 'ruffle' ) so if it stays a noid I suggest triceratopsii as its name.

My guess would be Aerides odorata. Beautiful flowers, good growing.
