Default Purple leaves

I just got two new phals at Home Depot. One of them has good looking green leaves on top, but they are dark purple on the underside of all of them. Is it still a phal?

If you posted a picture I could ID if it's a phal or not. I would guess that the coloring could mean the plant is lacking something or getting too much of something. Not really sure, but when they are in a box store, they are not getting their necessary requirements. please!

Oh it's beautiful! And definitely a Phal. I don't think the leaves are anything to worry about. I think it's a "light" thing that your TLC will make perfect.
We'll see what others say.

This is the other new one. It has a few buds still maturing. The medium is quite wet, but I think it will be ok.

The tag says its a "Yu Pin Snapper"

Do you know how to repot? I would take it out and make sure the roots are okay and put fresh medium in.
They are both in moss and are wet. Check the roots just to be sure, okay?

Phalaenopsis Yu Pin Snapper is a registered hybrid in Royal Horticultural Society registry
It's parents are Phalaenopsis Bamboo Nancy X Phalaenopsis Chiali Freed

Nice Phals you have ..
I love the name Kisses .. it's prefect for that phal!
