Mine are just like that. I really think it is velutina, mainly due to the half tag that was on it, that read "tina". Also, because most of this collection were natives of Florida, and the southeast.

Wanna see a really small Dendrobium? Here is the smallest I've ever grown just for comparrison (not saying this has anything to do with yours )



This is a moniliforme Dendro called Hakuunrya. That's a 2.5" pot it's in! So small doesn't mean it's not a Dendro.
