So, last year, at the 'prompting' of Sue & Ross

I was forced

to add Dendrobium jacobsonii to my collection...
I thought that I kept the plant too dry through our winter, so I wasn't expecting any flowers this year. However, one flower has formed - which is enough for me to figure out that this is not Den. jacobsonii, which has orange flowers:

The flowers are the right shape, and the canes certainly look similar... but my flower is pink and white!
Here is the flower:
I know its not completely open yet... so I can get flowers in a day or so when it is completely open, if that would help.
I've looked through all of the section Pedilonium Dens, and this is probably the closest match I can find:

Does anyone grow this, and could possibly confirm?
If this is hasselti, then it wasn't the dry rest that was the problem. Possibly temps too cold through out the year? Or even too much water during what should have been a true rest period?
That said, while searching, I found another plant for my wish list!!
