I'm sorry I can't help you either fred but that is one gorgeous catt! It does remind me of Blc. Greenwich 'Elmhurst' but the flowers on yours is smaller.

Drummroll please: Lc. Green Veil 'Dressy' (Lc. Cuisseag x C. Landate)

It's been covered here on the board in a number of posts but I got the Id from Rob Schneider of Odom's Orchids.

I still have suspicions that it might not be the 'dressy' but the genus fits pretty well with what I have.

Fred regardless of what the name is those flowers are gorgeous !!!! I really love those green petals and sepals. Let me know if the color changes as the flower ages. Enjoy your beauty

I've done quite a bit of picture checking and I definately have the Green Vail 'Dressy' orchid. The lip color varies a bit among them but that may just be the photography. I'm just glad I was able to move another plant from orphan status to an adoptee.
