Can anyone help identify this cattleya? Male
Default Can anyone help identify this cattleya?

Hi all

Bought this lovely Taiwan-imported blue/lavender-tinted orchid about three weeks ago from a local nursery, which unfortunately only had a rather colloquial (and mandarin) name (ie. "lan se qing ren", which when translated into English roughly means: blue lover).

Could anyone help with identifying this? Looks to me like it's a laeliocattleya hybrid, but I could be wrong... someone pointed out that it looks very similar to a Cattleya Valentine var. Coerulea, but the lip on this NOID isn't the same.

Baloney that is a very beautiful flower regardless of its name. I really like that bluish purple color in it.
