Default Unknown in spike, can anyone help with the genus?

Here is an unknown in spike that I got from a friend. Can anyone help identify the genus. I will later post pics when it blooms in hope of finding out the true name as well!

Or one of the many oncidinae orchids.

Yep, I'd lean towards one of the oncidinae but really need a blossom to come closer and then might not be able to "name" it.
