Oncidium
I won this at tonight's orchid society meet, any ideas? I'm thinking Gower Ramsey, but I'm no Oncidium expert.

Gower Ramsey would be a good guess but unfortunately with so much breeding going on it is very difficult to tell. And like you I am no Onc. expert

Hard to be sure with no tag. Can't really guess and then have an incorrectly labelled plant in a show or used for breeding.
Certainly it is a plant that will look great in flower.

I'd never breed it anyways, Oncidiums aren't really my thing.

It seemed like a good group, I'll definitely keep going to the meetings.

Gower Ramsey sounds good. But there are a plenty of hybrids (Sweet Sugar, Singh Gold, all the ones with variocosum and flexuosum) that seem to be similar on the first look. I got the same without name and I call it now Gower Ramsey `Compact`. And I adore Oncidiums!

Very nice color. Haven't the slightest clue what it is. Tony, I think we oncidium fans are starting to wear you down!!

I actually gave that plant to Scott shortly after the original post. My collection is Oncidium-free.
