I've posted a few of the thirty-odd orchids within 50 feet of the carratera between David and Chiriqui in the La Fortuna preserve in the gallery. All of these were found in an area of less than 100 meters along the road. I'll post a lot more as I find them. The ones I've fairly positively identified have the name on the photo. Others will have to be identified as I go. Several are not supposed to be found in Panama'. I'm classifying bromelliads as well as orchids - and anthuriums - and ginger - and heliconias - and rhipasalis - and...

That is a really nice display. I enjoyed seeing orchids in the natural environment. Thanks for sharing.
Those are some great pics! Thanks for showing. I really enjoy seeing orchids in the wild. I noticed there are a lot of terrestrials in Panama. Any more pics of epiphytes on hand?
I've posted another batch. The incorrect information and the lack of any info on these and older entries are because a friend's child hit the return button and I don't know how to edit such info yet. Several of the new batch are NOT listed as from Panama'. One doesn't seem to be listed anywhere, but I've found several of those. I'll add more when I've gone through the 1100 photos i took the last three days.
