What the heck is it ?
Does anyone know what this is ? I have had this plant for about 7 years it is the one in the basket .
I always thought it was an Oncidium gave it a lot of light , it didn't do anything ,I got disgusted and put it shaded . Look what showed up , I have not seen anything that looks like this . The plant was given to me by a good friend that is no longer with us , he didn't know what it was. Any guesses are welcome it is probably a species , if the what ever it is gets larger I will post back .. Gin

Very interesting, tiny, and cute. I really don't have a clue what it is though. Maybe it's an Alien. Proceed with caution and keep us posted on it's progress.

Sorry I can't help you but try taking it to an orchid society meeting and see what they think.

The pseudobulbs look like Cymbidium bulbs.Could also be an Eria sp.,or one of the not often cultivated old world genera(Flikingeria etc.)
When it flowers,we would all be interested in seeing it again.

I would go with your suggestion of an Eria. I do not think that it is a Flickingeria. What we need is better close up photos of the flowers and from different angles.
