Maybe a cattleya of some type? Do you have a pic of it flowering?

Probably Myrmecophila (Schomburhghkia), but quite a lot look much alike. Definitely Cattleya alliance

Default I don't think so ...

I have Myrmecophilia tibinicis and 2 hybrids (and I had a Myrmecophilia thomasoniana) and neither of those 4 looks like this orchid - The species' pseudobulbs are hollow, sulcate, conic to cylindric psuedobulbs that are hollow and have a entrance at the base for ants to enter to live in. The hybrid pseudobulbs are thin and elongated.
This pseudobulb looks solid and flattened.
The first photo is of my hybrids and the second is the tibinicis

I honestly don't know, but WOW what a background in that second picture!!!!! Where exactly is that? I would love to just bring my sleeping bag and live there.

Sorry. Working on classification of pleurothallidiae at the moment. Myrm. is the hollow PB type. Some of these are now laelias or such. Schom included the undulata-superbiens plant structure this displays and might still. I'll be back in laeliinidiae in a month or so, I suppose. There are literally thousands of species and ssp to classify here.

Have we ruled out Laelia? Kind of looks like one I have.

It's not a Schomburhghkia ,cause I have two of them already. We'll just have to wait I guess.
Kiki you're soo funny. This picture is at my home here in Puerto Rico. As you can see I keep all my orchids outside all year long. I live up in the mountains.
