I think you still can't rule out Schom since tibicinis has cylindrical, ribbed pseudobulbs (I have one myself) but there are others with club shaped like my Schom. homboldtii as you can see from the attached pic. there are other catts like C. skinneri with similar pseudobulbs. If there's one thing you know for sure, it's that it belongs to the cattleya alliance.
