Question New orchid from TJ, what kind is it?

i'm just trying to figure out if it has some kind of culture requirements different from what i do with my other orchids since apparently i can't keep a miltonopsis alive (it's been hobbling along barely).
Also trying to figure out if the staining on the pseudobulb (and there are some leaf marks) needs to be treated or is a part of the pattern of the actual plant.

It's likely a Wilsonara, a complex Oncidium intergeneric hybrid. They prefer cooler temperatures than some in this group, and often do well in homes.

The purplish spots probably reflect increased light exposure when the growth was maturing.

As ES says it's an Oncidium intergeneric hybrid.
It looks a lot like Aliceara Tahoma Glacier to me. However, without a label, that's all you can say, "it looks like."

I have one that looks just like that - an 'inherited' plant that I would not have bought myself. I agree it could be 'Tahoma Glacier' or similar breeding. Mine takes sun, cooler temps, is mostly untroubled by pests and other issues, blooms reliably, and is easy to divide and pass along to other folks. A 'keeper' - good luck!
