No ID help please

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a general ID on this orchid? I got it from a garden center and it wasn't in bloom, I've now had it probably two years and never gotten it to bloom, probably because I kept it under consistent artificial light. Anyways, any help would be appreciated, I'd really like to figure ouut proper care so I can get it to bloom! Please let me know if any additional photos would help

This is a slipper orchid, Paphiopedilum (Paph.) It is likely not old enough to flower. The smaller growth should continue growing and may eventually produce a flower from the center. They make more growths from the base, each of which should eventually flower, once the plant is old enough.

They prefer bright shade. They should stay moist at all times, and never dry completely.

They are best repotted every year or two. People us fine orchid bark, sometimes mixed with medium perlite and/or charcoal.

Paph. roots don't look like other orchid roots. They are brown and fuzzy. Don't cut off any roots when repotting, even though you will find a lot of beginner videos advising you to do this.

Also, the light color of the leaves indicates that it has probably been getting too much light. And orchids in general do like a period of darkness at night. So it get its light only 12 hours a day or so, 14 at most.
