I feel so stupid...can't figure out how to upload photo. Can I delete post...if so, how?

You can edit the first post and add a pic by using the edit, and then attachment option. If you're on PC, a pop-up window will appear, and you can then select and upload a photo.

Alternatively, you can share photos from other media sites such as photobucket etc.

While editing the post, you'll have a paper clip icon above the text box, along with many more tools (ie bold or italic). Clicking on it will open a new window; it's fairly straight forward from there.

It's not you. The software here is old and clunky.

There are instructions for posting photos. From the left yellow menu choose Forums then About this forum. Near the top is a sticky thread Tips on posting photos.
