Hello, y'all,

This was sold to me as E. diurna, but it looks different than all other photos of E. diurna I've seen.
I know Encyclia identification is muddy, but does anyone know what species this is? It is in a 4" pot for reference.
Thank You!

The best online identification site is the Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia, orchidspecies.com. Have a look there. Be prepared to examine lip and column structures closely, perhaps with a magnifying glass.

Thank you for the suggestion! I found exactly what I needed without getting cross-eyed.

Alright, y'all,

This one is Encyclia flava v. linearifolioides

It's small and not flashy, but it has its own little charm I like. The plant itself runs small, but it's an easy and steady grower.
