Lol I first thought WA was the US State of Washington. But I'd never seen anything like thisin the Northwest of the US. Then I realized you meant Western Australia.

I think you have Caladenia brownii, the Karri spider orchid.

Thanks for the response! It is in Western Australia, but I think it is too purple for the Karri Spider Orchid. My first thought was the Caledania Startiorum??

I looked here:
Caladenia – Spider Orchids | Orchids of South-west Australia

Distinguishing between brownii, harringtoniae and startiorum looks difficult. Flowering season, lip details and substrate vary between them. Color appears to be quite variable as well. I know we have Australian members here, but mostly from the East. Or perhaps you could E-mail the owner of that page?
