Hi Orchid People,
Here is another strange orchid from my garden. It is growing epiphytically on a palm and is just coming into flower. There are single small yellow and white flowers forming in the leaf axils.
My best guess is a kind Dendrobium nobile

I dont think it's a dendrobium. My guess is maxillaria, but I couldn't say for sure. Max. aurea is similar but we'd need a clearer flower photo

i'll second that...from what i can see i agree


there is some variation on the coloring online- almost white to yellow to orange...could be a different variety or just genetic variation....very cool plant
