Default I do not know what it is. Please help!

I need to find what it is and how to care for it. It is a rescue seedling, I assume it was damaged by bugs and hence not good for regular retail. I repotted it and need to understand how to water. Plant does not have good roots. New growth does not have any roots. It is only connected to the older bulb. Please help! Really want this plant to survive if there is a slightest chance.
