I dont know my Vandas but my guess is that its Vanda tricolor.

If you get a chance would you post a photo of the entire plant? A 50 year old plant must be quite a specimen

It is massive.An old orchid-20230517_104038-jpg not looked after and only the bottom section is flowering.

Ok this is in the restored Palm House please email them to add weight to ensure this plant survives. There are the remenants of other dead orchids around and signs of not enough water generally. Palm House Sefton Park | Victorian Palm House Venue
