Asconopsis Irene Dobkin 'Elmhurst'
Phal. Doris and Asctm. miniatum are the parents of Asconopsis (Ascps) Irene Dobkin. The hybrid was registered with RHS in 1968 by Thornton.
There are 18 awards to the grex, one of which is an HCC (78 points) to 'Elmhurst' in 1970. 'Elmhurst' has been cloned and so is widely available. A cloned plant should look exactly like the plant from which it was made. Cloned plants would bear the awards of the original plant - hence, Ascps. Irene Dobkin 'Elmhurst' HCC/AOS 'should be' on the label and the attached photo shows how the flower should look.
Although your plant is not what its label says it is, you have a sweet NoID
