With the thickness of the leaves, it is more likely Vanda garayi, or possibly a cross between miniata & garayi.
It needs more light than what you give Phalaenopsis. It should be in Cattleya type light. And, if you put it in bark, I would recommend watering every other day.
I plant my small Vandaceous in net pots (for air circulation), but in spaghnum to hold moisture longer. I currently water heavily every 3 days.
