Default miltonia or miltoniopsis

Hi - I have always thought this was a pansy orchid - Miltoniopsis- but the description I see on the internet does not seem to match. I want to repot and separate the pseudobulbs but thought it best if I id the orchid first.
Thank you in advance.

That looks like a Miltoniopsis. Have you seen the flowers? Miltoniopsis flowers look somewhat like pansies.

If you have space it would be happier not divided, but moved to a somewhat larger pot. They need a lot of water with low mineral content, high humidity and coolish temperatures. The pleated leaves are a sign it didn't get enough water when they were forming.

Thank you for the info. I thought it was a "pansy" orchid. The hard part is the humidity since I live in Wyoming. I fill the dish around the plant with water but probably is not enough. With heat running a lot of the time, I am sure the house is rather dry. I will transplant to a bigger pot. My other orchids are constantly blooming.
Thanks again.

you can always trust any thin bulb with leaves crinkled like that to be a fussy Miltoniopsis

Miltoniopsis has one leaf at the apex of the pseudobulb and Miltonia has two.
