Yes, closing in! Just a bit mor flussy, but same colors and same shape!

The flowers arent small, but smaller than my others, which is phalanopsis and phalanopsis hybrids. Some of those are quite big.

You're never going to be able to ID it from the plant alone, and even when it flowers, there's no way to know with absolute certainty, as there are hybrids that look quite similar. However, even being "in the ball park" will help with the culture.

I do have a culture tip right now: get it out of that glass vase!!! You are setting the plant up for severe root rot in that environment.

Okey? I was told this was the best vase to put it in, becourse the roots needed light. What kind of vase should it have?
Thank you for the correction, thats why im here, to learn how to care propably for my plants!

I do have a simulare vase to most of my other orchids too, phalanopsis and phal hybrids. Should they to have another vase?

Hi Lene, You should put your plant in a pot that has drains on the side and bottom, these type of orchids likes plenty of drainage and a course bark mix to allow air to get to the roots. Most Orchids grow in trees so the roots can not stand being suffocated by dirt or water. Hope this helps and good luck

If it has a drainage hole i reckon that vase would do if you replace the medium with really coarse bark and put pebbles in the bottom or something to increase drainage further.

Yepp, theres of course a draininghole in the bottom, on all of my glasvases.
But theres not drains on the side in any of them.

Ive put some stones in the bottom of the vases, exept the one phalanopsis whos growing a flower now. Its not yet longer than a small finger, but im a bit afraid to take it out of the vase right now.
