to be honest, that way you can only guess a possible name of an hybrid. especially for Phalaenopsis, you can find hundreds of hybrids that look more or less 'exactly' the same... e.g. google 'Phalaenopsis white' could you say with 100% certainty what is the difference between Phal. Kinu White Bear, Phal. Tiny White, Phal. Sogo White, Phal. Orglade's Toast, Phal. Cygnus, and Phal. White Wedding? (just to mention a few)... And don't think the number of flowers per spike, or the length or number of the spike can help - these can be also variable within the same hybrid...

especies are a bit easier to identify this way, but it is also not always possible (unless you are a 'profi' on the genus... ) but hybrids... wow!!!!

The best you cando is just be happy with your NOID and provide it a nice name of your own, à la: Phal. "NO IDea what it is"

just my

Are young orchid leaves edible? That would mean if you have a keiki growing on your plant,.............you could "have your keiki, and eat it too!"

ok, I can hear the groans from here!
