I atarted reading this last night and was up for hours. I fell asleep thinking about others.

I think the plant in "Little Shop of Horrors" arrived on an "Asco-Noid".

I don't know if they can be classed as strange visitors, but bugs in general on my 'chids I consider to be strange visitors. Mealy bugs that jump from orchid to African Violet, and flies that come in to the conservatory. I'd love to have a hawk come in. Perhaps he'd eat the bugs!

I am fighting some clear worms that start out in the orchid bark, and then eat the crown of my orchids!! Nasty little buggers! Anyone else having problems with them?

for a proper name don't buy an unlabeled plant. If you want to research or show a plant you must know the genus and species (or hybrid) if it's just for fun make up your own clonal name that maybe gives you a hint as to it's color or where & when you got it. good luck and have fun.kitty
