Orchids, orchids.
They can take so much of your time.
Sometimes I wonder,
are they my hobbies....
"or kids"?

I once had a pretty Phal
I thought I'd name her Sal
A pretty Phal Salu Peoker
Occasionally I would soak her
Then a little vacation I took
During which she unfortunately did cook!
In a greenhouse that got
Just way too hot
Oh my poor little orchid
but I don't want to be morbid
She is now in plant heaven
And new orchids? I bought eleven!

A couple days ago a HAWK flew into my greenhouse while I was working on the orchids! Scared the bejeebies out of me!! Anyone else had strange visitors?
