What I listed are the innocent mistakes.

I am aware of:
  • One existing nursery
  • Two now defunct nurseries
  • One Ebay seller
where you can't trust the printed labels.

That's a beautiful hybrid in the Cattleya alliance. It looks like something Fred Clarke at Sunset Valley Orchids might hybridize. Did you order anything from him?

No. Most of my orchids come from eBay. I used to go to Chicago once in a while and buy orchids and at our local orchid show. That got boring so I started with eBay many years ago. When I buy from eBay I’m usually looking for a particular plant.
