Roberta - it is true that wrong names do exist on tags for various reasons. And if it is detected, then it's ok to just mention it - regardless of whether the tag gets updated, changed, or not.
It certainly doesn't mean that somebody is stupid, or ignorant, malicious etc. Cannot judge books by covers. We observe, and observe adequately and very thoroughly before making any serious judgements/opinons. Depends on situation of course.
I won't think badly about somebody that keeps the same wrong tag name even after telling them about it. It's only for cases where people sell orchids with majorly wrong tag name ----- that can be a problem.
