really nice! definitely some member of the Catasetinae, maybe a Clowesia or hybrid with a Clowesia somewhere in its parentage.

I did some googling and it looks a lot like Clowesetum Black Jade, which is Clowesia russelliana x Catasetum expansum.

Awesome! Looks like an Fdk. I could have sworn he had some “dark” lines with that crazy green pheno on SVO this year.
Ah...thanks Afid, Black Jade is indeed what I was thinking of!

My first thought was also Black Jade, but there are several Fredclarkeara's that look similar to this, as already mentioned.

Do keep an eye on Sunset Valley Orchids. You won't find that exact plant, but Fred is always doing interesting breeding - there are definitely some greens. One of the Fredclarkeara After Dark plants came out green (the cultivar is 'Morning After') He has used that one, also worked with other greens. Send Fred Clarke an email about what you're looking for, and he may be able to advise you, maybe has something similar - either already bloomed, or else anticipated.

Here's one of the offspring from the aforementioned Fdk After Dark 'Morning After', crossed with Catasetum pileatum 'Green Gold', SVO 5054:

Same here with this one. I can spare a backbulb if you're interested. Lmk sometime soon and I can cut it off when the plant goes dormant, and ship it to you in the spring once it starts putting on a new growth.
