I've got a division from a friend of mine 4 o r 5 years ago. Mine potted got -5°C (23°F) and snow on the pot. No problem. His plants, in the ground went down to -15°C (5°F) with some mulch on them. Alba and coerulea variety (B. striata coerulea is usually clone Soryu) are a bit less cold tolerant, I wouldn't go less than 0/ -1°C (30°F).
Rbarbata yours is a nice type of albescens form, alba is totally white (totally no pigment).
