It has been used in a lot of hybrids, but it itself is rather difficult to find if you want it in your collection

I feel in general it is hard to find tolumnia species. Pretty much the same as with phals.

I agree, Stan. Whenever I stumble across one I snatch it up when I can (much to my bank account's dismay). Some of the places I find them is surprising. The species phals are probably my all time favorite. The tolumnia are a close second..I hope they gain in popularity. They are such a cool unique plant.

You know, Katie? It is disappointing I'd say because they are very interesting. Although I prefer a little more hybrids, I also love species, and it is with species that I first discovered tolumnias when I was little, so hybrids really don't interest me in that genus. Alas, few things are perfect.
While we're at it, let's keep it going.

Oh wow. Breaking out the hybrids, trying to make it harder. I see some that look similar but the size of the lip and touch of yellow in the back are throwing me off. I remember seeing something on OB that reminds me slightly of this. Is it: Rlc Nakornchaisri Red
