Found while hiking in Hawaii. Some kind of Brassavola?

That is Phaius tankervillae one of the non-native species that has colonized Hawaii. Neat find!

As wonderful and varied as Hawaii’s climate may be, there are no orchids native to the islands.

There are actually three species that are endemic (all terrestrials). Still much less than you'd think.
