It's in the oncidium "tribe." Probably will get to be a bigger plant, not necessarily a mini. Perhaps someone can give it a precise name but, if not it will be a noid and you can name it whatever you like. It is cute.

Thanks Dolly and all. I agree that it is an oncidium. The three pbulbs appear mature, it is in a 2.25 inch pot.
.I want to repot it, but only have small and large LECA
and some all purpose bark type that I ordered weeks ago but did not open yet since all my phals are in S/H. h
I have watered it without fertilizer this is the 3 day. The tiny pot has holes in the bottom and I just have it sitting high in a porclin little container, not touching water, humidity now at 44 and I have the overhead fan on. Do I need more air circulation. They are in my living/dinning room area which is large. Is five feet from thermostatic controlled heater, and on a table in a warm corner.
I guess I will read about oncidiums some more, since their care and the tolumnia are very different. ;
I was not planning on getting another orchid at the nursery that has a pharmacy and diagnosed my phals as normal and perhaps a little dehydrate.
However/////I fell in love with this little lemon yellow jewel. Bought it home and now have to learn to care for her. Thank you , TY, Ty one and all

Judging by the coloration and size of the segments, I’d speculate it’s a “mule ear” oncidium crossed with a standard, “dancing lady” type..

Thanks Ray. Mule ear, that is good. I was born in Missouri, The show me state, and I love Mules. I have rode a mule across a 12000 ft pass in Kings Canyon. Had altitude sickness, spent the night in a tent, while my friend ran out 10 miles to the ranger and they came for me the next day with 5 mules, two for our backpacks. Had traveled 40 miles round trip, but love the oxygen mask and the sure footed mule heading back the last 10 miles. What fun..

OKay...back to my orchid. I have been reading about the mule ear oncidium, and yesterday I read about the dancing lady, waving their beautiful (yellow).
This orchid is in a tiny volcano rock pot. I have only watered it. Want to repot and if needed, fertilize if recommended. And want to use semi-hydro. I am allergic to spagn. moss, and have not tried bark yet but since I have all my phals in S/H would like to continue it with the Onc.

It is much smaller than the photos show. I did not know my phone had such a great photo ability. I also took a photo of my hand/finger with the bloom. I am going to measure it and also the pseudo bulbs. I have l

ots of research to do. It took me 4 months with Phals to be really comfortable that with all of your help here and web research.
