4 years no I'd no blooms

I bought this for my birthday in 2016 it won't bloom and I can't I'd it to figure out what I'm doing wrong in it's culture when I got it it was huge and all the roots where gone I divided it and mounted one put one in bark and one in lava rock now the one in lava is the only piece left this is the only one to ever cause me such grief any help or advice would help and I can take more pics if needed
