Default is this an orchid

so a little back story- a friend of mine who does estate and commercial liquidation calls me about a family where the father has to be put into assisted living and the property is in bad shape and there is a dilapidadted shade house in the corner will i help identify anything of value and cleaning up (usually that means i buy all the plant stuff lol)

so in cleaning up the shade house i found this plant on top of a collapsed wire mesh shelf indicating that it may have been once on the shelf and some kind of orchid-

the roots are insane and are what caught my eye to begin with

It had may air roots and a bunch that were growing through the mesh into the fallen leaves and dirt.

I have it resting on a stump here to figure out if it wants to be in a pot or the ground.

here is the leaf

any idea what this is????

Unfortunately, no I'm not sure what it is, but I can 100% guarantee that it's not an orchid because the leaves rule out the possibility of this being a monocot.

It looks like an epiphytic fern.

I reckon it is Anthurium coriaceum or a related species.
