it is an epidendrum of some kind. vanda is restricted to the asia-pacific region.

I agree, its an Epidendrum, hard to say which species though, I might be able to narrow it down to one of the groups though.

I think this is is part of the Paniculatum group... but I haven't found any species that matches perfectly.
