Any thoughts on what this might be? Or is it in fact a unique cultivar of Sharry Baby?
I bought this at a nursery open house today (for $12.50
). It had no tag - the proprietor wrote one up quickly that you see in the photo - and he said "oh that's Sharry Baby". And, it is wonderfully fragrant. He pointed to another Sharry Baby right behind me and said "just like that one".
Well the classic Sharry Baby he was pointing to was: a) larger, as is more typical; b) had a long spike, as is typical - note in the 3rd photo the short spike with not too many flowers on it, plus it is a very thin spike, not thick like I've seen Sharry Baby; c)it has a pink lip - the normal looking SB he pointed to had white in the lip, as do nearly all of them on
