It looks similar to Onc. abortivum. (Which I think does occur in Colombia but more in Ecuador) There are several species that have a similar habit of starting more flowers than the plant will support, ending up with fairly sparse flowers and those bits that didn't develop. If you can check out other Oncidium species in the section Heterantha, you may find the one that occurs in that specific area

I think the flower looks the wrong way round for Onc. abortivum. The structure is much more similar to one of the Cyrtochilums but I have no idea which.

Thank you for that Claypot. I see two species reported in my area, C. trifurcatum and C. paniculatum.
