Blush / Peach colored phalaenopsis? Female
Default Blush / Peach colored phalaenopsis?

Hello! Walked by a window last night and saw these pretty blush/peach Phals. Lighting was difficult, but hopefully gets idea across. They were definitely soft blush in person. I've never seen this color variety before! Was wondering if there's an actual variety/color name—if I was ever to go get one, what would I request? This shop is not in my neighborhood and also very $$$ so was going to search around. Thank you!

Sorry, I have no idea on name. If you have a Trader Joe’s store near you they tend to get in a diverse array of complex hybrid Phals at really good prices. I picked up a really nice champagne colored one a few years back. Any other box store that sells orchids may also be worth a look, sometimes a grower/distributor supplies multiple stores so a flower that shows up in one store may show up at another store too.

I bought a very similar looking peach phal for the mother's day this year. It was sold locally under the name "Lady Marmelade"; google image search tells me its official name is Dtps. Jiuhbao Venus. It's a very distinctively looking hybrid, so I think we can be pretty sure of that ID.

There are many similar-looking hybrids, so a NOID must stay a NOID. Buy a plant in bloom, and enjoy...

I don't think the question was about getting a name for the orchid in the shop window, but just to get names of similar looking Phals in order to find one of this color...
