Default Orchid found on street in Costa Rica

My cousin, who lives in Costa Rica says she just found this orchid laying on the street. Whether someone dropped it or threw it out, who knows? My cousin did say though that she has heard rumors that young guys (drug addicts) go into the forest and pick the orchids from the wild to sell them to people. I don't know if this is true, but she thought one of them may have dropped this one.

Like I said I really don't know if this is the case, or if someone simply bought it in a store and then when it wasn't looking too great anymore threw it out. But then my question is: where did the pot and the medium go?

Background information: my cousin lives in the mountain area of San Jose, called Coronado, and the climate there is a bit cooler than in other areas. Cooler and humid.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows what sort of orchid this could be? It appears to have a pseudobulb, it's looking a bit wrinkly though.

My cousin is wondering what to do with it? She think it's such a pity to throw it in the garbage. I agree. But how to treat it? Like an oncidium? What sort of medium should she repot it in? How to care for this little orchid?

It looks to be in the Oncidium tribe, I would treat it as such. Since I don't live anywhere close, I'm not going to give cultural advice, other than they like bright diffused light and to be watered when approaching dryness. An exact id is probably not possible.

Thank you. So I will assume then that it should receive care for like an oncidium plant. Something like that.
