Default Cattleya Portia vs. NOID

Last year I posted this NOID Cattleya pics in OB, but I didn't had a C. Portia (bloomed at same time) for comparison. This year both are 'synchronized' and pics of both shows the differences; the size of flowers and number per spike are the same, as the vegetative parts (big, robust bifoliate catts). The lips have different shape and colors; the colum is different too. C. Portia has more 'powerfull' perfume, that remembers C. labiata fragrance. I guess NOID it's not a Portia (C. bowringiana x C. labiata), but close related.
Pics 1 & 2, C. Portia; pics 3 & 4, C. NOID; 5 & 6, both
Any guess?
Thanks in advance!

Excellent color on these, Frederico! You can definitely see the C. labiata influence in the shape (and color?) of the flowers.

Hi,

I don't think either of your Catts are C. Portia. Portia is a very tall, multiflowering smaller flower. Bulbs maybe 3 feet tall, up to 15 to 25 or so flowers per spike. Fine portias are rounder, small size dark flowers. Varieties Cannizaro and Coerulea (blue) are the two popular ones. Coerulea is a light lavender, in the orchid world it is called "blue".
