Dendrobium moniliforme 'Shuyo' Questionable ID?

Hello Folks:

I have a Dendrobium moniliforme purchased with the tag 'Shuyo.' However, I'm told that the plants labeled as such are not 'Shuyo.' hm?

I was also told that a number of years ago a Japanese vendor was at a Florida orchid event, he had lots of these plants and they sold like hotcakes.

It is very pretty - nice saturated magenta color and it is very hardy and reliable.

I include a link to Longwood Botanic Garden, which now says it is longer there at the garden Could it be that they don't want a mis-labeled plant no matter how pretty?

Any information on this minor mystery is welcome.
Regardless of the questionable ID, I'm keeping her anyway. : -)
