Check out Phalaenopsis ‘Magic Art’. Phalaenopsis Orchid ‘Magic Art’ (Phalaenopsis hybrid)

This is the description: “Its white blooms have splashes of light and dark pink throughout the petals and lip. ‘Magic Art’ is referred to as a “wild color” phalaenopsis. These wild colors are not stable and at times the colors will reverse. The reverse color for ‘Magic Art’ is burgundy with white petal edges. You could have two separate spikes with flowers of each color on the same plant! However, like nature itself, which color combination you get is unpredictable.”
Wow! That is fascinating! I think this is what it is! Thank You!! It's funny because I was on that exact website last night (always looking for new orchids!) and didn't see that. It's a dead ringer for mine!

Not the clearest but...
Do you think because it's a hybrid it can flip flop like that? When it first bloomed all the blooms were the same design. This could be really fun!

Right??? I'm wondering where I can find more of these but in different colors! Does anyone know if it's only this purpley-pink Magic Art Phal that color shifts?
Funny thing is I picked this one up at a discount grocery outlet with a big pile of orchids by the front door - all on sale for under $5. Yes please, I'll take more! It was only showing the spotted pink/purple on both stalks that season. Gonna pamper the little shyte more now and get those blooms bigger!

Sorry, I know this is an older post. But I came across it searching for answers. I have a phal that I SWEAR used to be white with purple dots. This year, the first bud has opened and it is solid purple! Looking at the rest of the unopened buds, they appear that they may be solid purple as well. So weird! I did repot this phal in the summer. I have had this orchid for several years!
