Phalaenopsis Venitchiana
Default Phalaenopsis Venitchiana

This is one of my favorite primary hybrids. This is a manmade remake of the natural hybrid Phalaenopsis Venitchiana (equestris X schilleriana). This flower is from a first year seedling, the flower has good form and great color. This plant has great potential. Lip detail photograph for all the macro fans!

I can see why it's one of your favorites! It's a gorgeous flower, that's for sure! I love the closeup. That's the best part!

Thanks, for the feed back! I think this flower well improve over the next several years.

This photograph is, slightly, more in focus and might be a little truer to color.

Gorgeous colour - looks like a 'blue' Phal! With equestris in the background - how many flowers per spike do you expect?

Excellent! Both flower and photos! And so, the list grows longer and the house expansion is becoming a "have to".
Thank you for sharing this beautiful Phal.

Shakkai; I only expect the one inflorescence, this year. This is the first year, out of the lab. As this plant matures it will produce several inflorescences and many flowers.

Neverend; It does appear to be blue in my photographs, however, it is really pink/purple—and it is dark. Not sure how it photographed like this.
